IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
We encourage you to read the following Safety Information Guideline and have a pleasant experience with your newly purchased ATV and Scooter from Emrockmotors.
ATV Safety Information
AN ATV IS NOT A TOY AND MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO OPERATE.
An ATV handles differently from other vehicles including motorcycles and cars. If you fail to take proper precautions, a collision or rollover may occur quickly, even during routine maneuvers such as turning and driving on hills or over obstacles. There is a good possibility that SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH may result. We suggest you read the following Safety and Proper Handling information for operating an ATV.
Training Courses
To receive optimum riding experience on your ATV, we encourage you to take a training course from a certified instructor to learn the proper handling techniques of your ATV. Specialty Vehicle Institute of America (SVIA) at 1-800-887-2887 can help you locate the nearest training facility and instructors.

Do's
-
Carefully, read the Operator's Guide, the Safety Handbook and all labels and follow the Operating Procedures for your ATV.
Always wear an approved helmet that fits properly when operating an ATV.
Always wear eye protection (goggles or face shield), gloves, boots, long sleeved shirt or jacket, and long pants.
Always inspect your ATV each time you use it to make sure it is in safe operating condition.
Always follow the inspection and maintenance procedures and schedules described in the operator's guide or safety handbook.
Always keep both hands on the handlebars and both feet on the foot pegs of the ATV during operation.
Always go slowly and be extra careful when operating on unfamiliar terrain.
Always be alert to changing terrain conditions when operating the ATV.
Always follow proper procedures for turning. We suggest that you practice turning at low speeds before attempting to turn at faster speeds.
Always practice on smaller hills before attempting larger hills.
Always follow proper procedures for climbing hills. Check the terrain carefully before you start up any hill.
Always follow proper procedures for going down hills and for braking on hills. Check the terrain carefully before you start down any hill. Shift your weight backward. Avoid going down a hill at an angle that would cause the vehicle to lean sharply to one side. Go straight down the hill where possible.
Always follow proper procedures for crossing the side of a hill. Avoid hills with excessively slippery or loose surfaces. Shift your weight to the uphill side of the ATV.
Always use proper procedures if you stall or roll backwards when climbing a hill. To avoid stalling, use proper gear and maintain a steady speed when climbing a hill.
Always dismount on the uphill side or to a side if pointed straight uphill. Turn the ATV around and remount.
Always check for obstacles before operating in a new area.
Always follow proper procedures when operating over obstacles.
Always test your brakes after leaving water. Remember that wet brakes may have reduced stopping ability. If necessary, apply the brakes in a safe area several times to let friction help dry out the pads.
Always be sure there are no obstacles or people behind you when you operate in reverse. When it is safe to proceed in reverse, go slowly.
Always use the size and type tires specified in the Operator's Guide.
Always maintain proper tire pressure as described in the Operator's Guide .
